What is Far Cry 2?

Far Cry 2 is the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 sequel to the first person shooter Far Cry for PC. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for release on October 21, 2008 in North America and on October 24, 2008 in Europe and Australia. The original Far Cry put the player on a tropical island with open jungles to explore. Far Cry 2 is set in the open savanna of Africa. The main storyline follows the player's quest for the notorious Jackal. This storyline is however largely open-ended, giving a sandbox style of gameplay and allowing the story to progress at the speed the player chooses. Withover 50 kilometers of explorable terrian and destructable environments you will be hanging on to your seat! Fly in the sky, hit the road, or take a boat ride, all up to you! Far Cry 2 even has a FREE map editor to create your own maps!
