Offering 4 round capacity and a much higher rate of fire than the otherwise comparable M79 grenade launcher, the MGL makes a useful anti-vehicle weapon and is also good for taking out clusters of soldiers. It has good reliability and accuracy, combined with tremendous damage, but it also suffers from low capacity and its rare ammunition is completely wasted on single soldiers. It is highly recommended that a submachine gun or machine gun (or both) be carried in addition to this weapon.
