Machete

The Machete is a weapon avialable from the beggining of the game it cannot be dropped. the player almost always has one. It has its own weapon class.

The machete is your last means of defence. It is the only weapon in the game that will never break or jam, and is silent and lethal when used against an unsuspecting foe from behind. The machete can also be used to brutally finish off a foe who has been grievously wounded but is not quite dead - you will be able to tell this by their slow movements and the fact that they will be only using their pistol. It also is useful in finding some diamond cases which are hidden behind wooden planks, as the machete can cut them asunder with little trouble.
There are 3 types of machete available from a download from ubisoft : Primitive, Modern and Homemade these machetes have no difference in damage or stats they just look different.
