The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 SD is a 9mm Sub-Machine Gun designed by Heckler & Koch of Germany. The MP5 family of sub-machine guns are based off of the G3 series of assault rifles and are some of the most widely used sub-machine guns in the world, in use by a number of police and military clients. The Silenced MP5 is obviously a weapon designed for stealth. Although a Sub-Machine gun, it is classified as an assault rifle and can accept ammunition from the rifles of fallen foes. The MP5 is fully automatic and accurate at short to medium ranges with a relatively high rate of fire. It's silenced nature means that it is capable of silently assassinating targets for those who wish to remain unseen, with further range and better sights than the Silenced Makarov, and a quicker rate of fire than the Dart Rifle.
However, the silenced nature of the MP5 does not mean you can fire recklessly. The MP5 is only stealthy as long as you score head shots on your victims, which may often mean getting in close quarters with your target. If shot anywhere else, they will alert the other enemies around them to your presence. It is also somewhat unreliable in comparison with other assault rifles.
