How far are along are they with the game?
- The game has been fully developed by the Far Cry 2 team.
Is Jack Carver in the game?
- No. But he might be a secondary person, or someone you don't really notice.

Will Far Cry 2 run on Cryengine 2?
- No, it will be an entirely new engine called Dunia Engine. This is a advanced engine with air effects, plants growing back, and many more special effects to want you keep coming back for more!
When will FarCry 2 be released?
- It has been released for North America, and Europe. $50 PC and $60 for Xbox and Playstation.
Is Crytek developing Far Cry 2?
- No, Ubisoft Montreal has developed the sequel, Far Cry 2.
Does Crytek have any input into Far Cry 2?
- No.
Are there going to be any 'non-human' enemies like in the original Far Cry such as Trigens?
- No.
Will the environments be destructable?
- Yes. You can burn plants, destroy buildings, and blow up vehicles! Oh yeah!
How large will the levels be?
- There won't be traditional 'levels'. Instead you will be in a full free roaming environment that is over 50 square kilometers. You can also roam the 50 km on foot or by vehicle.
Will there be day and night?
- Yes, it will have fully dynamic day/night cycles, along with a fully dynamic weather system.
Will there be health packs?
- No. Use will have animated effects like wrapping bandages around your arm, pulling out sticks and wood out from your knees, and animated stuff of that sort. For more information go here:here.
Is there a radar like the original Far Cry had?
- No. You will be provided with a map and compass/GPS, but there will be no original Far Cry style radar. This is to give a more realistic feel to Far Cry 2.
Will far cry 2 have splitscreen?
- No it will not have split-screen.
